Allison Gillis is an editor with 15 years of experience in publishing and communications. She has worked at several magazines, including Endless Vacation, Cosmopolitan and Wondertime, and is a freelance copy editor for Random House Children’s Books. She worked in media relations for Mount Holyoke College and as a strategic operations analyst for MSNBC, where she also developed content for the MSNBC TV Web site. In addition to her editing work, she has been involved in adult education as a teacher and volunteer for many years.
Allison has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University and an MBA from Fordham University. She lives in Western Massachusetts with her husband and twin 3 year-old boys, who fascinate her with their capacity to learn on a daily basis.
