David Uttal, Ph.D., is a professor of the psychology of education at Northwestern University and a fellow of both the American Psychological Association and the Association for Psychological Science. His research focuses on cognitive development, particularly the development of spatial and symbolic thinking. David is also active in efforts to enhance students’ participation in STEM by improving their spatial thinking.
