Jack Maypole, MD
Comprehensive Care Program, Boston Medical Center
Jack Maypole is a primary care pediatrician who works with families and children with complex problems and chronic illnesses. He is the director of the Comprehensive Care Program at Boston Medical Center and the medical director of the SPARK program, a medical daycare for children and youth with special health care needs. He is also an assistant professor of pediatrics at Boston University School of Medicine. His interests include applying multidisciplinary approaches to health and welllness, integrative medicine, medical education, advocacy for underserved populations, and getting his morning cup of coffee just right. Cartooning has been a lifelong endeavor/fascination, and his work has been produced in a variety of magazines and medical journals. He writes articles for printed and online media on topics relating to kids’ health. Jack lives with his wife and three children in Newton, Massachusetts.
