Michaela Herr works as an art therapist at the Children’s Aid Society in York, Pennsylvania, where she holds individual art therapy session for children ages 3 to 18, many of whom have a range of issues that include severe trauma, ADHD, PTSD, autism, and major depression and anxiety. Previously, she worked as an art therapist at York High School, where she supported students experiencing conflicts that range from teen pregnancy to addition, trauma, domestic violence, and gang violence. Ms. Herr holds a master’s degree in arts therapy and mental health counseling from Lesley University and a bachelor of arts in art therapy from Marywood University.
